He has been an accomplished rock guitarist and musician, and part of the music industry for over three decades. Thanks for taking the time to sit with us to share your story with our readers. Can you start out by sharing a little bit about you and your company? Thanks for having me. I'm June Carter. I'm the founder of GYST* Solutions. My career has taken some twists and turns that brought me to being a Home Stager. I majored in Interior Design and worked for many years designing offices in the New York tri state area. When I moved to Florida I started Home Staging. Like many Home Stagers I also became a Professional Organizer. Like many Professional Organizers I also become a Certified Life Coach. Then I became the IAHSP Home Stager Coach allowing me to coach and mentor Home Stagers to be successful in their business. Teaching the Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) course to new and aspiring Home Stagers is a particularly wonderful experience for me. I really enjoy supporting Home Stagers to visualize and achieve their goals. Q. Everyone has a story about how they got started, what was the inspiration or the catalyst for you starting your business? After many years of designing commercial office space in New York I was moving to Amelia Island in northeast Florida and seeking a new career path that would use my Interior Design background. As we were walking through a house with our real estate agent he asked me what I did and when I said Interior Design. He then asked if I could stage houses for him and I said yes. That night I signed up for my first Home Staging course and never looked back. Q. What services do you offer? And why did you choose to offer those particular services? I am the Home Stager Coach for IAHSP. As an ICF ACC level Certified Productivity Coach I coach and mentor Home Stagers to visualize their best selves in work, live and home while providing support to create a structure to achieve those goals. With a degree in fine arts and a career in Interior Design ad Home Staging I am aware that many highly creative people don't get the input in their education and career as to how to be both creative and successful at business. I am passionate about supporting Home Stagers to be successful from creativity to business. Q. Did you ever have a project or customer, where everything was going wrong or the project was challenging? Can you share about that time, and how did you find a solution, or over-come the challenge? Northern Florida is a cliché in that there are many older people and retirees. I developed a niche in Home Staging for elderly people. Many elderly people don't know what the internet is or are very scared by it They don't understand that pictures of their house will be on the internet for the public to see. Many elderly people are moving into assisted living form a long term home and are very upset over it. I use my Life Coaching skills to hold their space literally and figuratively while they tell me their stories. The most challenging was when we got there and the homeowner was face down in the washing machine after a small stoke. We called an ambulance and stayed with her. Luckily she had a friend there so we could call her family. After that I added a spot for an emergency contact on my intake form. brands that every home stager should know 1/4 Q. Running a business is not always easy. What have you learned about yourself and your business, since launching your company? Balance in my life, work and home is critical to me. I am a high energy person and successful at multi tasking. But, I must delegate responsibilities to others and out source when needed. I cannot do it all. Q. We've all had either an employee or a customer that makes what we are doing worth it all. Can you share with us a story about an employee, vendor or customer that really impacted you and touched your heart? I have had several Home Staging assistants that treated my projects as if they were were their own businesses. Long hours, hard work and beautiful results. In gratitude I have provided coaching and mentoring to these assistants so they can go off and fly on their own. Q. If you could go back in time and give yourself some advice on how to manage or grow your business, what advice would you give yourself? I waiting to buy my own inventory until I had a really big project that paid for all it. I wish I had bought my own Home Staging inventory sooner. Q. Thanks for taking the time to sit with us to share your story with our readers. Can you start out by sharing a little bit about you and your company? Thanks for having me. My name is Jack Samatov. I am the CEO and founder of a software services company called Relentless Software Solutions, which specializes in rental software integrations. My career path has gone from software engineer to inventor and to entrepreneur. All of my work, inventions, and businesses focused on innovative software products. We combined our decades of experience in the inventory rental market to create a new rental eCommerce platform called EasyRentals that allows launching a rental eCommerce storefront and start renting unused inventory in a day. Q. Everyone has a story about how they got started, what was the inspiration or the catalyst for you starting your business? In 2005, my brother and I established the first US software development company outsourcing to Uzbekistan. In 18 years, it is now the largest, most successful, and only globally focused software development outsourcer in Uzbekistan. A conglomerate of 12 companies grew around this core business, and Relentless Software Solutions is a US-based service provider focused on the rental market and have spent many years building customizations and integrations for third-party software as well as our own rental platform, EasyRentals Q. What services do you offer? And why did you choose to offer those particular services? We offer a broad range of software development and management services but are focused on rental software integrations because there is no one else in terms of your audience. Our relevant service is EasyRentals for Stagers which is a mechanism for stagers to rent out idle furniture inventory and browse the inventory of other stagers or external vendors when they need to rent a specific piece of furniture for one specific project. Q. Did you ever have a project or customer, where everything was going wrong or the project was challenging? Can you share about that time, and how did you find a solution, or over-come the challenge? Have you ever heard of a software development project that did NOT have challenges? The challenge is not the technology, the technology works, and computers do exactly what we tell them to…The problem is always a function of communication. Sometimes it is the communication between humans and machines in terms of either the user interface or errors in coding, but more often, the problem is human-to-human communication of the product vision or the product vision changing over time. This is why we developed a rental business in a box that avoids all those communications pitfalls. The storefront is templated so the user can just upload their product data. brands that every home stager should know 1/4 Q. Running a business is not always easy. What have you learned about yourself and your business, since launching your company? I called the business Relentless because that is a quality I highly value in myself, others, and my business. I have come through lots of challenges and adversity in my life by simply being relentless in my efforts…and that approach resonates with me and works well for me…but what I have learned through running the business is that flexibility, agility, and adaptability are just as important as relentlessness and that people who think differently than I do can and must make critical contributions to our success. Q. We've all had either an employee or a customer that makes what we are doing worth it all. Can you share with us a story about an employee, vendor or customer that really impacted you and touched your heart? One of my longtime clients told my market research company that they would not switch teams even if we failed the project because they love us. I never thought that such a customer retention method existed until I heard that recording. Q. If you could go back in time and give yourself some advice on how to manage or grow your business, what advice would you give yourself? I would have told myself not to doubt and follow my intuition. Q. If a potential client were reading this article right now, what would you tell them about you, your team or your business that would convince them to choose your company? We are relentless. We don’t give up until the job is done and done well. We have over 200 developers experienced in rental eCommerce and inventory management software, and we understand how to apply technology to enhance customer and employee experience by bringing efficiency and automation to any equipment rental business. Q. What is one fact about you or your business that most people might not know? I am a yellow belt in Kung Fu. Q. Where do you see your business going in the next 5 or 10 years? Bringing machine learning, large language model AI, and all sorts of other new technologies into our solutions, but the objective won’t change.
