APPLY TO BE A JUDGE Judges Qualifications Judging Guidelines General Rules and Guidelines SUBMISSIONS Submissions will be reviewed by a committee of IAHSP judges who are seasoned professionals in the industry of home staging and design. These judges will vote on whether each entry is eligible to move forward to the next step. Entries that pass the panel of judges will then be voted on by public voting to determine the Top Five (5) contestants. The submission with the highest overall score will become the overall winner for each category. In the event of a tie, the committee of judges will vote again on the tied finalists. The overall winner will be announced at a designated venue (in-person or virtual event). DISQUALIFICATIONS Photos submitted in other categories will disqualify the entry. Photos entered in one category may not be used in any other category submissions. If the same photos are used in multiple entries, they will apply to the first entry received and all other submissions with the same photos will be disqualified. Photos with people will disqualify the entry. Photos with watermarks or any information as to the contestant's identity or geographical location will disqualify the entry. General Rules Awards Categories General Rules and Guidelines ENTRY FEE Each entry is $35.00 (USD) ELIGIBILITY Last year's finalists are eligible. Contestants can submit multiple projects within the same category. This is a self-submitting category for current IAHSP members or non-members. Submissions must be of an actual client project and not an example of work done in the contestant's own home or property. SUBMISSIONS Submissions will be reviewed by a committee of IAHSP members who are seasoned professional stagers. These judges will vote on whether each entry is eligible to move forward to the next step. Entries that pass the panel of judges will then be voted on by all IAHSP members to determine the Top Five (5) contestants. The submission with the highest overall score will become the overall winner of the Year. In the event of a tie, the committee of judges will vote again on the tied finalists. The overall winner will be announced at a designated venue (in-person or virtual event). DISQUALIFICATIONS Photos submitted in other categories will disqualify the entry. Photos entered in one category may not be used in any other category submissions. If the same photos are used in multiple entries, they will apply to the first entry received and all other submissions with the same photos will be disqualified. As Chairwoman of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals® (IAHSP®), Jennie is the driving force behind the world’s largest home staging industry trade association. She and the Leadership Team at IAHSP work diligently to help thousands of industry members grow and thrive. With numerous accolades, including being the second inductee into the Staging Industry Hall Of Fame, and the only two-time winner of the coveted Staging Awards of Excellence and recognition as one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in the Home Staging and Real Estate Industries, she is an international expert, speaker author of two industry books: "Marketing Made Simple, the KEY to Succeeding in Home Staging" and "True Confessions of a Stagerpreneur: 25 Reflections, Revelations and Remembrances of a Pro-Home Stager." In 2018, she opened up Europe by helping launch EAHSP (now GAPHS)- the European Assn of Home Staging Professionals, and has traveled to Europe multiple times to educate industry professionals during conferences and courses such as the Luxury Home Specialist and Masters-SCALE Course, Mastering Mindset and Communication (MMC) Designation, and Senior Staging Specialist (SSS) Designation. Jennie holds the rare double certification of ASP® and ASP® Master, as well as 11 other industry credentials.
