IAHSP Community Worldwide Staging Service Week
Project:
We are sponsoring a Battered Women’s Shelter in Ventura California. I can’t give the address, obviously. This home houses 15 individuals – mainly children. It also houses the office that handles the families so you can imagine how cramped the quarters are. There are four bunk beds in each room plus a toddler bed. We are trying to collect enough funds to put in new flooring, window treatments, some new plumbing, a dishwasher, all new window treatments, furniture and bedding. It is a lot of stuff!!! Oh and also paint the place. It’s a tall order but I really think we can pull it off.
