Project:

We are very excited about our project at the Ronald McDonald House in San Francisco. Just last night our chapter members put together some large picture boards with photos of some of the families who have stayed at the house in San Francisco, very happy and hopeful pictures. We are currently seeking donations of cut flowers to put on the tables, bookcases and storage boxes for the children's play room, and patio furniture and plants for the outside patio as well. Brook will be donating 24 dining chairs, two lounge chairs and a small table to our project. We will be ordering 4 prints from the vendor who has offered their donations.

The Ronald McDonald House has provided so much to so many families. Below is info on one of the familes that the Ronald McDonald House has helped

Our daughter Patricia was born at 25 weeks and 6 days of gestational age, and weighed 1 pound and 4 ounces.  Finally after 3 months in the hospital she came home weighing 5 pounds. It is important to never lose faith even on the hard days. God can make anything happen. The Ronald McDonald House was a true blessing and gave us the help and support we needed throughout our difficult journey. Patricia just celebrated her first birthday and she continues to amaze us with her development. This is Patricia now. She weighs over 17 pounds and is doing incredibly well. She is definitely a blessing from God.  She is full of life and is a constant reminder that miracles do happen. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses of UCSF Intensive Care Nursery (ICN) along with all the staff at the Ronald McDonald House (San Francisco) who made this difficult time in our lives a lot easier.
