IAHSP Community Worldwide Staging Service Week
Project:
The Denver IAHSP Chapter is grateful for all the support that made our 2007 Ronald McDonald House Service Project a resounding success. In two days, September 13 and 14, 2007, with member donations of beautiful decorator items and a lot of muscle we transformed five rooms at the RMH from nice away-from-home spaces to beautiful, warm, cozy and inviting places to rest, relax, reflect and renew in the midst of monumental personal challenges.
In addition to the $300 Foundation donation that was used to purchase pictures and accessories, we received two gorgeous paintings from PPI, valued at $500 that we placed in the solariums. IAHSP members donated another $1350 worth of pillows, throws, artwork, mirrors, floral arrangements, lamps, greenery, books and accessories to complete the transformation.
Thank you to all of you who made this project so successful and so much fun! And a special thanks to Kendra Trebil, House Manager at the Ronald McDonald house for her gracious support and to Ronald McDonald and all the parents and kids who dropped by to watch, thank us, and say how much they loved what we were doing!
