Dear Barb,

I am sitting in the airport ready to fly home and just so excited about how our 2007 Convention went!  I heard nothing but positive comments from ALL I spoke with all week long - they loved the education, the networking, and the ideas!  The energy and camaraderie of all the ASPs from all over the US and Canada was palpable!  Raising the bar once again, the Convention was a HUGE success!!  We missed you so much the last night, as I know you did as well - and yet you need to know that your spirit was evident in the room as we celebrated our ASP Family, and YOU!!  Thank YOU most of all for your leadership and vision that carries us from year to year - on into the future!

With much love and appreciation for all you do and who you are!!

Jennie

Barb, I just wanted to to personally thank you for the time and energy you put into the convention and even more into Home staging.
My business has changed so much in just one year and it is on a path to continued growth because of Staging so for that I am truly grateful.  I will be at next years convention to once again learn and be inspired by a fantastic group of women who share the vision of Staging the WORLD one home at a time!!!!

Debbie Avey

Hi Barb,

I just wanted to send you a note to thank you for the wonderful convention and all the hard work you and your staff did to make it happen again this year!
Thanks again for everything,
Heather Durren

Barb and all the staff at Staged Homes;

Thank you for putting together such a wonderful, heartfelt and educational symposium!
I was so charged after coming home. I have been working at implementing so many things I took away from the event.
I am so looking forward to helping the team put together and working on the Seattle event!

Again many thanks!!

Melanie J. Warren
Accredited Staging Professional Master

Hi Barb,

Wow, what a great time I had in Chicago!  Your hospitality and hard work really paid off for me and my ASP™ sisters and brothers.  I found myself learning throughout the event.

Love and blessings,
Mark Reed, ASPM, IAHSP, NAPO

Hi Barb

I just want to thank you sooooooo much for all the time and energy you put into making the convention a spectacular event. I learned so much - at times overwhelming (in a good way). I am a stager in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
I attended the convention for motivation, knowledge, information and to connect to other stagers (as well as to have fun). All of these objectives were met plus much much more. I felt the love, the spirit and the joy that was present during this convention and realized that Staged Homes is not just about staging homes but a part of something much larger, like a movement. I am so pleased to be a part of this energy. I am so on the same page as your philosophy and believe in universal laws. This allowed me to feel much more connected and recharged.

I am more awake now and feel more energized than I have felt for a long long time. Thank you doesn't seem big enough for all that you have given me by being a mentor, leader and a channel from the universe. I needed to speak from my heart and share my feelings.

I am so ready to go. Wow it feels great!!!!!!!

Lots of love and blessings
Agatha Grant

Dear Barb,
Dear SH Family,

Thank you so much for yet another fantastic convention!
Thank you all for sharing your knowledge, and spreading your enthusiasm and friendship! (Mark Reed – thank you for the Charleston!)
The Convention was invaluable!
Cannot wait till next year.

See you all in Seattle!
Monika Talarek-Mangrulkar, ASP™

Barb –
It’s really hard to express how much the convention meant to me and to meet you.  I didn’t know what to expect but was told not to miss the Convention.  Wow was that the truth.  What an inspiration you are to all of us.  Chicago is such a great city and what fun we had Saturday night, but so missed you.  Came home so inspired and working really hard and implementing so much of what we learned and the things that were shared.

Shari Benedict

I want to give some feedback on the conference. First of all, the very best part was getting to meet some of the other wonderful Stagers from all over. They sure are a great group of people!! Thanks for getting us all together to grow and learn together!

I brought back some great ideas and energy and have already seen results in my business. Since returning I implemented Barb's ideas and ramped up my proposal (it has been incredibly well received since doing so). I also got  my feature page on Stagedhomes.com updated, got my Careerbook updated (and already had a client tell me how very professional it is), updated my services agreement AND signed a proposal with Neace Lukens for business insurance. Yes, I have been very busy since returning from Chicago and it feels great. I have tons of new ideas from the break out sessions that I am implementing as well and am very excited about those. The break out sessions were fantastic!! One of the best sessions was regarding photography because that has been a tough one for me personally and she really gave me some great information AND has been in touch since offering more advice and assistance. I hope to offer others as much free assistance as  has  BEEN given me.

Sincerely,

Karen Peters, ASP, IAHSP

Good Day Barb,

Thank you for a fantastic event. I know it took a lot of people to put it together including yourself.
You are greatly loved and now that I have had an opportunity to be with you I can see why. It doesn't take long to see you how sincere your love is for the people in Staged homes.
Oh yeah, I followed everything you said to do by listening to your CD after going through your course. So pic. was put on staged homes right away along with everything else I could add as a new member. I will continue to put in to action the things I learned from this convention as well.
This was my first symposium and I am looking forward to next year in Seattle.

Blessings,

Deborah Heise

Dearest Barb,

I have come back to Arizona after the most wonderful convention with you, the sh.com staff and all my wonderful new "staging sisters"!

I want to tell you this convention did wonders for me personally and spiritually!   What I gained from YOU, the speakers, pro's, my new friends, old friends, & the extra time with family, has made me so very, very strong and even more determined in my faith and business now that I know I can handle and will handle whatever  comes my way.

I have made up my mind to take the master's course in October in Palm Springs and have already spoken to Julie.  I will have the wonderful privilege of seeing you again and taking the class in August in AZ you are teaching.  Knowledge is such a powerful thing and the more I learn from you, the better I become!  Convention taught me that!  THANK YOU!  You are truly a living angel and have blessed me more than I can tell you!

Sherri Halvorsen

Dear Barb,

I wanted to thank you for putting on another wonderful Convention in Chicago my home turf. I have gone two years in a row now and will be Seattle for the Convention there. The Staging business is wonderful and I can't thank you enough for making it come to life for all of us. Prior to being an ASP I was Staging homes and Interior Decorating properties for over 14 years. When I joined in 2005 my business went to a whole new plateau and was taken much more seriously with the ASP designation.

All the best! Please let me know if there is anything I can help with for next years Convention!

Lane Rabin, ASP, IASP

Thank you for a wonderful convention.  Having only been at this since September it was wonderful meeting so many nice people doing such exciting things!!!  You were very inspiring and I am excited to get my business to the next level.  Since starting this in August, I already have furniture in eight houses.   I love this business!!!  Thanks for paving the way.

Gina M. Graf
ASP, IAHSP

Dear Barb,

Thank you so very much for the wonderful convention.  The time, effort and dedication of you, Sandie, Kirk, Gina and all the staff at Staged Homes was very evident.  Having helped stage conventions for a 1000 + school board attendees several times, I know the work that goes into making things run smoothly.  I can't wait to be part of helping for the convention in Seattle.  I have been making notes and writing down things that others shared with me for next year.

Love,
Gail Alexander

Dear Barb

Thank you for having your dream and sharing it with me.

Mary O'Grady

Hi Barb...
Thank you so much for all of the positive energy and enthusiasm that you shared with all of us at the convention.
This was my third year and it is still, and always, a wonderful time.  I can't wait to help it all come together again next year in Seattle.

Blessings!

Laurie Bunnell

Hi Barb!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for such an AWESOME convention!  It was so helpful to me as I'm getting started, and, I am already looking forward to next year!  (WOW!  How fun to know that I'll actually be visiting Seattle next year!)  Thanks for such a motivating and informative and FUN time!  The entire Staged Homes staff is to be commended for all the hard work that was obviously put into the convention!

Pamela Cooke
ASPM

Dear Barb

Your encouragement and challenge to raise the bar in our businesses was given with such heartfelt conviction.  Your message came through loud and clear, and I believe many ASP’s, such as myself, have been energized into maximizing their business practices.  I look forward to having the convention in Seattle next year.

Sandy Donogh, ASPM, CRTS

Hi Barb….

Thank you again for all you did for us at the convention---its an awesome experience, and you should be very proud of the event.  Everyone from Seattle loved it and we can’t wait to help host our fellow chapters next year!!!

Lots of love,

Dana Pedersen, Accredited Staging Professional Master
President, Seattle Chapter of the Intl. Association of Home Staging Professionals

Barb,

I appreciate all you did for the convention and all the hard work in the preparing and keeping the energy level high as you did.  You get my kudos.   I came home with many ideas to grow our business.  My favorite and most productive part came from the "meet the pros" and the speakers.  Awesome time.

Thank you again, God Bless, Vicki Streeter

Dear Barb,

Thank you so very much for all that you do for each and every one of us.  I feel that your dream is about to blow wide open all across the country and I am so honored to be a part of the process.  You inspire each one of us, all day, and every day.

I enjoyed the convention and am so glad that I made the commitment to be there.  I have to admit when I received word that my daughter would be home from Iraq during that time I couldn’t help but to rethink my plans.  I turned it over to God and always trust that he places me where I need to be, when I need to be and low and behold I ended up in Chicago.  What an amazing convention and city!
Denis

Dear Sweet Barb,
I still can't begin to thank you for all you have done for us. Like your products: We staged today, and Tom used the picture hanging tool for the first time. It worked fantastic! He said he didn’t' remember what we paid for it but whatever it was it wasn't enough!  We continue to marvel at the thought that went into creating the Staging caddy. And so many other conveniences you've brought to us.

Not to mention giving us a career that we can be so profitable at while doing good for others. I don't know of anything that is such a win-win-win occupation. You know the song, The future's so bright I gotta wear shades? Well that's exactly how I feel.

And we will continue to attend the annual symposium every year that we're in this business. We got SO much out of it. Not just the presentations, but the networking and getting all kinds of tips from others who have been doing it longer/easier than us.  We've already used several of the tips we got and plan on implementing many more.

I realize now more than ever the importance of sharing and we definitely plan on sending you photos and tips as they come along. There is just SO much to do now in preparation of getting our business going. I tell you what - WE LOVE THIS BUSINESS. We just got home from a staging and the owners were so pleased. It is so gratifying. And Tom commented on how well your teachings really work when implemented. We are kind of amazed at how good we are at this!

Please know that you're always in our positive thoughts, and your name is mentioned in our household almost daily!

Thanks, and love,
Joy McGuire

Dear Barb,

It was a wonderful Convention.  I made so many new friends and we all shared valuable information.   You give 150% of yourself every minute
I'm really glad that I attended Convention.  I'm inspired to move more seriously into Staging and leave my old career behind.  For a long time I've been on the fence and Convention helped me to make the mental move.

All the best to you!  Maria Santye

Hi Barb!

Wow!  What a wonderful time I had at the Symposium!  I'm so glad that I went.  I came back excited even more about 'Staging'.
The Round Table sessions were great!  I learned so much from them!   I went to the convention to learn more about building my Staging business.  I came away with wonderful new ideas.

I'm excited to see where 'ASP Stagers' are going in the future!  We've only just begun!

Thanks Barb!  Your enthusiasm is infectious!

Anna Schmidt

Dear Barb,

I so enjoyed attending the Conference and will definitely be attending next year in Seattle.  It was a wonderful opportunity to discuss 'the business'
with other ASP Stagers and to learn from what they had to offer.  I gained invaluable information at the Meet the Pros session!

Regards,

Maureen Kindred

Barb:
I have come back from the convention a "changed woman".  What a wonderful time.  I look forward to seeing you again next year.

Barb,

Your enthusiasm and knowledge is the glue that makes all ASP so grateful to have you bless our lives.  I taught for 25 years and 10 of those with bright and gifted 3 to 6 year old at the University of IL.  I attended many seminars and conferences during that time.  Then I joined forces with my husband as a realtor and once again attended IAR conventions, GRI classes and continuing education classes.  I have heard many excellent speakers but none compare to you.  Your passion eeks out, and your giving spirit is inspirational.  I found a new calling and that is due to you.  Staging has opened up an exciting creative outlet for me and I will forever be grateful for all your hard work and insistence on professionalism among  all stagers.  Like a "good mother"  you demand that we give the best of ourselves and reflect on the path we have chosen.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to twinkle in your star "STAGED HOMES".

Regards,

Mary Jo Rogers

Hi Barb,

I first want to say I am so happy you are getting better.
I want to personally thank you for a wonderful event.  It was not only informative---but so inspiring.  I came home ready to "rumble."  My business has been steadily climbing and I know that going to convention and hearing you, and the other wonderful speakers will be in my memory for a long time.

Barb, thanks again for everything.  If you ever need any help in Los Angeles--please don't hestitate to call upon me.

God Bless You. ....
Tina Parish

Dear Barb,

Thank you! Again this year, the symposium was wonderful. Your love and caring was evident throughout all of the events. I learned a significant number of NEW things and reinforced some of important things that I knew before but were no longer top of mind.

Good Morning Barb,

I want to thank you again for the opportunity of being a part of the Staged Home Family of Professionals, and say how much I learned and experienced at Convention.

My committment is stronger than ever to be the best ASPM possible and grow my business to new levels of success.

So many new thoughts, ideas, dreams are emerging.

Best wishes ...

Barb,

I want to thank you for hosting such a wonderful Convention this year. You are truly an inspiration to me and so many others. I do have a passion for this "home staging" that you started so very long ago. This passion just gets stronger and stronger as I see the the very things you have taught me become a reality I never imagined.

Well, I can't say enough about how this all has changed my life, but I will say that it is all because of you. I will be out here in St. Louis making you and my fellow stagers proud. After all, we are the "Show Me" state! Our Chapter is only 3 months old and we had 5 out of 7 chapter members at the convention! Next year I plan to see that all of us make it to Seattle!

With deepest thanks and respect,

Gerri Downen

The convention was awesome!!! Thank you, thank you!

You offered up to us every bit of energy you had going into the convention. I love what you do; I love being an ASP and I love you!!!

Greetings Barb ~

I just wanted to reiterate my deepest thanks for putting on such a wonderful Symposium. Lives are touched profoundly by this business and it is so moving to see kindred spirits come together and rediscover one-another, reuniting in a sense, during events such as this, and the ASPs did just that.

Barb, your passion and commitment to our ASPs was felt by every attendee present. I heard so many positive remarks at Symposium and I know the ASPs will take back and share – in their businesses and their lives – the message of love and empowerment that continues to resonate through this company.

Again, my sincere thanks to you all for the time and effort you put into making this ~ truly ~ a memorable time.

My fondest,

Jeannie

It was a pleasure to meet and to network with other ASP's and to meet your staff. How exciting.

Dear Barb,

Thank you for such a great time at the IAHSP symposium.

I will attend all future conventions, however, I must say that I will have to take some naps occasionally because I was WIPED OUT when I got home! WOW!!!

Thanks for the love you give to us all so generously.

Sincerely,

Kristen Coppa

Hi Barb

Hi Barb!!!!

I am back home and so energized from the Symposium! It met my expectations and beyond--I can not tell you how appreciative I am for all of your help---love you, love you, love you

Had a great, productive day yesterday--met with a young realtor who owns a small brokerage here who received one of my marketing postcards--He loved my career book (thank you Barb), I showed him my marketing portfolio of my work and now I am going to be his ASP Stager for all of his listings!!!! He had the NAR Magazine on his desk (yeah) and he knew of you Barb and had heard you speak--you're the best!!!!

Sue Rector

Dear Barb,

Having just attended my first symposium, I just wanted to write and say Thank You again for a wonderful experience. I have a greater understanding of what it takes to be successful in this business and a more clear direction of the route in which I plan to go to build a business.

Thanks again. it was GREAT!

Sincerely,
Tina Myers

Dear Barb,

I cannot thank you enough for all of your hard work and dedication. It is deeply appreciated by me and all of the ASPs from the Boston area. The information that was shared, the tools that were learned and bonds that were made are priceless. There are not enough words that could express my gratitude for you and all you do on behalf of staging. I wish you all the health and happiness that you so very much deserve.

Much love,

Thomas Holmes-LaFever, ASP, IAHSP

Hi Barb:

I had so much fun, made so many new girlfriends and exchanged all kinds of information. I am so pumped up. It was encouraging to hear all the success stories of ASP’s and ASPM’s. I jumped right into my marketing and have already gotten calls for my business. You are SO fun. I laughed so hard when you did the skit at the beginning of the convention. I loved meeting the people from Ronald McDonald House and realized what compassion they have. I have some pictures of them to share with you.

Thank you so much, Barb. You are a true inspiration to me. You have a very important job to do on this earth so I know you’ll be here for a very long time. Maybe you’ll be teaching my grandchildren how to stage homes (or planets) by then.

Love,

Theresa

Dearest Barb,

You never cease to amaze us with your unending energy, excitement, and enthusiasm. Thank you for all you do.

This was my first convention and I know it will not be my last. I can’t imagine anyone in this exciting profession not having the need to re-charge, re-fine, re-connect, and rejoice on an annual basis.

It was wonderful seeing ASPs from last year once again, and learning new Staging techniques.

Thanks once again Barb for your visions that have given so much pleasure and fulfillment to so many of us.

Warm Regards,

Taylor

Just a quick note to Thank You for all you have given to all of us in the Staging business. This past week in Chicago was incredible and was additional confirmation that my life is on the correct track. After 25 years as a Real Estate Broker and very little time for family and friends, Staging has been a blessing for me. It is such a positive career. I am looking forward to our next symposium!!!!!!

Marianne

Barb, Gina and the Entire IAHSP and ASP Staff and Volunteers of the National Conference:

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for inviting me to your national conference this past week. The hospitality, love, warmth, acceptance, receptiveness and kindness was UNMATCHED!

We are so, so pleased to be part of this amazing group of dedicated people. Not only do you change the lives of people with your own mission, but you are touching, changing and helping the lives of thousands of families and children through you affiliation with the Ronald McDonald House program.

The Great Lakes IAHSP Chapter, has given their time, energy and love to the House in Detroit. They continue to offer their expertise, through Carolyn Steiger, who has shown more leadership, talent and dedication, than anyone I've met in a long time. You are so fortunate to have her with your company. I see great things with Carolyn and I see a GREAT future for her.

Again, I thank you Barb...Gina...and the rest of the professionals who had me and Val at your conference. We are blessed. You are blessed and I look forward to an amazing, great, fantastic, awesome future together.

Enjoy the rest of the conference!

Jennifer Litomisky

I just wanted to say a personal "Thank You" for the convention. I enjoyed meeting you and all the professional ASP Stagers and ASPM Masters. I will be in your class in Arizona in August. I will be a busy beaver the next couple of days initiating my new knowledge. Thanks again you are an inspiration!

Hi Barb,
I’m delighted that you and Randi Bjornstad from the Register Guard got to speak with one another, as busy as you have been with the Conference. She was wonderful and it was clear as soon as I started talking with her that she “got” Staging!

I was SO VERY SAD not to be able to attend the Conference this year, given my finances (after moving expenses) and startup costs in a new market. HOWEVER, the Universe had different plans for our growing ASP Stager community here in Eugene.

The timing was perfect for the newspaper publicity. This Register Guard article was amazing...3/4 of a page on the FRONT page of the Business section, plus almost another 1/2 page inside. It was well written and put together (with lots of quotes from you!) and I will send a hardcopy to Stagedhomes.com for your review.

I trust that it will give each ASP Stager here in Eugene the exposure and credibility that the ASP credential offers for our individual businesses to thrive!

PS – We have a brand new “Stager in Training”. Rebekah Morris – who got her credential early this year – just had a baby boy named Jeremiah Scott (see attached picture).

HUGS!
